Arrival Hotel Transfer

Snooze transfers have been arranged. Please note, all transfers must be pre-booked through gener8 Events. If you do not book prior to arrival, you will need to arrange your transfer.

Arrival Airport to Hotel transfers will be arranged for you shortly after your flight is due to arrive in Cairns - allowing time for any minor delays and to collect luggage. If a direct group transfer if not available at this time, an individual shuttle transfer will be arranged for you instead (that may stop at one or two hotels prior to yours). If you flight experiences any delays we will coordinate an alternative transfer time for you upon arrival in Cairns. You just need to let us know your flight details once these are booked.

Departure Airport Transfer

Departure Airport Transfers will be arranged for you approx. 2.5-3.5 hours prior to your flight departure time (flight to be advised to gener8 once booked). If a direct group transfer is not available around this time we will coordinate an individual shuttle transfer for you instead (that may stop at one or two hotels following yours).

If you haven't booked you flights yet, please email snooze@gener8.com.au with your flight details if you are wanting to book a seat on the shuttle bus transfer.

GENER8 EVENTS - R&R25

Sunday: Arrival & Evening Welcome

  • Arrival: Guests arrive at leisure and check in at the Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas.
  • Evening:
    • Pre-Dinner Drinks: Enjoy pre-dinner drinks at an iconic Port Douglas location (TBC).
    • 7:00 PM Dinner at Watergate Restaurant: Savor an elegant dining experience featuring locally inspired cuisine in a chic setting.

Monday: Reef Adventure & Evening Drinks

  • Morning Activity:
    • Enjoy a full-day Reef Cruise, exploring the Great Barrier Reef with snorkeling, glass-bottom boat tours, and marine education.
  • Evening:
    • Casual Dinner at Hemingway’s Brewery: Unwind with a relaxed dinner at this waterfront venue.
    • Post-Dinner Cocktails at Rum Bar: Continue the night with cocktails (at guests' own expense).

Tuesday: Wildlife & Crocodile Adventures, Lunch, and Conference Start

  • Morning Activities:
    • 8:00–10:00 AM: Breakfast with the Birds and guided tour at the Wildlife Habitat.
    • 10:30–12:00 PM: Visit Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures to encounter crocodiles and native wildlife.
    • 12:45 PM: Return to the hotel to get ready for the forum.
  • Afternoon:
    • 3:00 PM: Conference opening session.

Thursday: Rainforest, Sunset Cruise & Dinner

  • Morning Activity:
    • 9:30 AM: Depart for Mossman Gorge Tour with an Indigenous guide, including a rainforest walk and swim.
    • 1:15 PM: Return to the hotel for lunch and free time to enjoy the pool, spa, or explore town at leisure.
  • Evening:
    • 5:00–6:30 PM: Sunset Cruise: Soak up the stunning Port Douglas coastline views on a luxury cruise.
    • 7:00 PM Dinner at Nautilus Restaurant (TBC): Dine under the stars in a lush rainforest setting.

Friday: Reef & Coastal Adventure

  • Morning: Free time to relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities or explore town.
  • Afternoon Activity:
    • 12:30–6:30 PM: Luxury Catamaran Cruise: Visit the Low Isles, snorkel the reef, and enjoy a guided turtle adventure along the Daintree coastline. (exact tour still to be confirmed)
  • Evening:
    • Casual Dinner Onsite at Sheraton Mirage: End the day with a relaxed, informal dinner at the resort.

Saturday: Departure

  • Morning:
    • Breakfast at leisure at Sheraton Mirage.
    • 11:15 AM: Depart for Cairns Airport for flights departing from 1:30 PM onwards.

Payment

Full payment for the forum, including any accommodation must be received within 3 working days of your booking confirmation to receive early bird prices.  Early bird prices can only be honoured for registrations and payments made on or prior to 25th January 2024.  Payment not received by this date will default to the full registration package. If payment is not received by this time gener8 reserves the right to charge any outstanding amounts to a credit card (if on file) or cancel your booking. 

All credit card payments attract credit card surcharges as follows: Visa, Mastercard & Amex – 1.86%
