Accommodation

All attendees are encouraged to stay at the hotel for the duration of the weekend to get the most out of the experience.

Group room rates are provided at heavily discounted rates to attendees when booked directly via MDDA. These discounts extend to dates before and after the retreat weekend too.

Rooms are very spacious and Twin Rooms can accommodate up to 4 people sharing existing bedding (+ a child under 4 yrs). A maximum of 3 occupants however can be 18yrs or over.

If your family size is greater than this then we suggest you consider a second room, and adjoining rooms can be booked subject to availability.

Two room configurations are available to best suit various family sizes and preferences.

  • Twin Rooms (two double beds with optional cot)
  • King Rooms (one king size bed with optional cot or rollaway bed for extra charge)

Maximum room occupancy limitations apply as follows:

  • 1 Adult (solo) + up to 3 Teens or Children 4-17yrs + 1 Child/Infant <4 yrs (in cot)
  • 2 Adults (sharing) + up to 2 Teens or Children 4-17yrs + 1 Child/Infant <4 yrs (in cot)
  • 3 Adults (sharing) + 1 Teen/Child 4-17yrs + 1 Child/Infant <4 yrs (in cot)

 

All costs are based on using existing bedding configurations, so if extra beds/rooms are required you should consider an extra rollaway bed (only suitable for king rooms) or book an additional interconnecting room (at additional cost). Interconnecting rooms are available with all rooms EXCEPT Garden Rooms. If you are traveling solo, we are happy to arrange a shared room for you with another MDDA guest to reduce your cost, please contact office@mdda.org.au if you wish to do this.

Group rates extend form 3rd October to the 12th October. If you wish to book beyond these dates, please enquire direct with MDDA and we will advise of a price to do so.

Airport Transfers

MDDA offers a free airport shuttle service to and from QLD airports (Brisbane and Gold Coast) on arrival and departure from the venue. Only one service operates from each airport and needs to be pre booked in advance. Shuttles will depart on time, please keep this in mind when booking your flights and allow plenty of time for the return shuttle on Sunday in case of traffic delays. MDDA is not responsible for missed flights as a result of airport shuttle transfers. Bus stowage will allow for one suitcase and carry on per person, please inform us if you will be bringing any additional baggage and larger items such as strollers/baby car seats.

Leaving GOLD COAST airport at 1:00pm AEST for flights who arrive no later than 12:00pm on Friday 7th October and returning to
GOLD COAST airport by 3.45pm for flights departing no earlier than 4:45pm on Sunday 9th October

EFT payments must be received in full within 3 days from your booking confirmation being received - If payment is not received by this time, your booking can not be guaranteed and cancellation terms will apply.
