Situated opposite the Botanical Gardens next to the North Terrace precinct, The Ellington is truly a unique venue

Featuring modern finishes with grand deco mirrors and a large dance floor, The Ellington is an authentic, yet modern interpretation of a traditional European style offering, featuring all South Australian produce. 

It is the perfect setting for this years South Australia State Awards Dinner.

Car Parking

Besides street parking around The Ellington, you can also find open aired parking at A21 Parking located at Hackney Rd, Hackney SA 5069, opposite The Ellington.

In terms of Public Transport, The Ellington is near two bus stops:

Stop 2 North Tce - North West Side 

Stop 2 Hackney Rd -  North East Side 



Booking Information

Ticket prices have remained $154 per person for the fourth year in a row.  

The price includes a 3 course dinner, beverages and entertainment.  

All bookings and changes must be made through the online system. 

You can add additional staff members or change names of those attending by emailing snooze@gener8.com.au up until the 2nd October 2019.

Booking Terms and Conditions

Booking Information

  • All prices are Australian Dollars and include GST.
  • Registration fees include a 3 course meal, beverages and entertainment
  • Accommodation, travel, parking and other incidentals are at delegates own expense.
Cancellation Policy
  • Your registration is fully refundable (less a $45 handling fee) if cancellation is received and acknowledged in writing by emailing snooze@gener8.com.au by 2nd October 2019. 
  • Cancellations after 2nd October 2019 will not receive a refund but are transferable to another colleague. 
Non-Disclosure
  • gener8 and Snooze will only use personal information provided for the purpose of managing your participation in the event.
  • Images (Photo and Video) collected during the course of the dinner by Snooze and gener8 may be used by Snooze and it’s representative for future marketing activities.


Payment Information 

  • Payment of the dinner registration fees is to be made direct to gener8 events.
  • You can opt to pay in full at time of booking or by the following installments  
    • 50% of total fee upon registration   
    • 50% on or before the 25th September 2019
  • A taxation invoice/receipt will accompany your registration confirmation which will be emailed to you once your registration form has been received and processed.
  • Credit Card Fees - Visa, Mastercard and American Express will be charged 1.86% of the GST inclusive amount.
  • Please note these credit card charges are directly passed on by gener8 at the rates charged to them. They are higher than standard retail outlet rates as they are charged as online merchant rates. If you have any concerns about these rates charged, please speak with gener8 and alternative payment methods can be accepted.
