Best Pandemic & Emergency Response

This award recognises and celebrates the outstanding achievements and contribution of an organisation in supporting their ongoing business strategy and mobile workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic, and may include an action, initiative, or specific response by an individual, team or whole organisation to challenges created by the pandemic.

Initiatives impacting the whole of organisation can be nominated through the New Way of Working - Mobility Partner Award.

Judges will consider: 

  • What specific challenge created by the pandemic was being addressed (e.g. emergency evacuations, quarantine, border closures, stranded employees, health or security concerns, recruitment, business continuity etc)
  • What action was deployed, and whether it was focused on supporting a specific business challenge, the mobile workforce, or both
  • The impact on the mobile workforce, and individual employee, the business, or the community
To qualify for this award:
  • The action or initiative will have played a key role in how the organisation addressed the challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic
  • If the action or initiative was delivered for, or on behalf of, another organisation/s (ie. a service providers client or customer) then the application should be submitted in conjunction with one selected client/customer.
Selection Criteria: Applications should outline:
  • The crisis response implemented, identifying the specific challenge presented by the pandemic
  • The strategy used to respond to the challenge
  • How the organisation collaborated with internal or external stakeholders in the development and/or implementation of the pandemic response
  • How the organisation's response to the pandemic positively impacted mobility stakeholders within the organisation.
