Booking Terms and Conditions

Please be advised of the following Terms and Conditions:

1. PRICING 

1.1 All prices are in Australian dollars and include 10% GST.

2. REGISTRATION 

2.1 Accommodation is included in the full package. 

2.3 Travel, extensions and other incidentals are at your cost.

3. ACCOMMODATION

3.1 Accommodation is at the Aspect Tamar Valley Resort in Grindelwald, Tasmania and must be booked as part of your registration package..

4. TRAVEL

4.1 All costs and arrangements associated with your travel to and from the Retreat (including parking) are at your own arrangements and cost (excluding the complimentary transfers provided as part of the full Retreat package).

4.2 It is recommended that you take out travel insurance to cover for any unforeseen circumstances that might impede your ability to travel.

5. PAYMENT TERMS

5.1 Payment of the Retreat registration fees is to be made direct to MDDA. 

5.4 Payment can be made by credit card or EFT.

5.5  All credit card payments attract credit card surcharges as follows: Visa, MasterCard or Amex - 1.86%.

5.6 Please note these credit card charges are directly passed on by MDDA at the rates charged to them. They are higher than standard retail outlet rates as they are charged as online merchant rates. If you have any concerns about these rates charged, please speak with MDDA and alternative  payment methods can be accepted.

5.7 Payment will be processed in full upon receipt of your registration unless you opt to participate in the payment plan. 

5.8 A taxation invoice/receipt will accompany your registration confirmation which will be emailed to you once your registration has been processed. 

6. CANCELLATION AND REFUND TERMS

6.1  Refunds are available at the discretion of the Metabolic Dietary Disorders Association.

6.2 If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued to all attendees.

6.3 Cancellations must be received in writing and the following:

• More than 60 days from the event = full refund
• 30-60 days out = 25% of costs payable
• Less than 30 days = 50% of costs payable
• Less than 15 days out = 100% of the costs non-refundable 

7. NON-DISCLOSURE 

7.1 Metabolic Dietary Disorders Association may film, photo and video this event.

7.2  Any data collected from this event will be strictly in accordance with the Privacy of Information Act.
