Heritage Golf and Country Club

The Heritage is founded on a philosophy of elegant simplicity. It is a vision realised in every detail – each graceful curve of the fairway, in the swathes of colour that flush the landscape and in the exquisite natural finishes of the architecture.

In the heart of the Yarra Valley and framed by the spectacular mountains of Australia’s Great Dividing Range, Heritage is less than an hour’s easy drive north-east of Melbourne.

Boasting two magnificent 18-hole championship courses, Heritage Golf and Country Club is one of the most beautiful and captivating private golf courses in Australia.

Please note, the Heritage Golf & Country Club is at an additional cost.

Yarra View Walk

Take in views of the river, the greater valley and the whole Yarra Valley Lodge property by extending the Yarra River Walk. Instead of veering right out of the property, turn left to find yourself on a 10km circuit that takes you around the property via Lower Homestead Road, Hughes Road and Heritage Avenue, bringing you back through the main gate.

Yarra River & Mount Lofty Walk

See the beautiful Yarra River up close along this 5km walk that follows the meandering river path at the edge of the property that the Yarra Valley Lodge is situated on. Extend your walk by heading through the gate and veering right on to the Mt Lofty trail in Warrandyte National Park.

Visits by the wild local Kangaroos

The grounds are home to these gorgeous wild local Kangaroos, especially visible at dusk. Be sure not to touch them, but do enjoy their presence in their natural habitat.
