The following booking terms and conditions are applicable to all registrations
Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions govern your participation in any gener8 Events produced and operated online (virtual) event; meeting; webinar; summit; convention, congress; or conference (‘the Event’), on behalf of the Snooze. By registering for the Event, you agree to these terms. If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure the person participating is aware of these terms and accepts them. By completing the registration on behalf of another individual you are warranting that you have made the participant aware of these terms and that they have accepted these terms.
1. Pricing:
1.1 All prices are in Australian dollars and include 10% GST.
2 Registrations:
2.1 Please refer to your selected registration packages for inclusions
2.2 Airport transfers are not included.
2.3 Flights, extensions and other incidentals are at your own cost and arrangements unless otherwise specified.
3 Accommodation:
3.1 Accommodation is at Rydges South Bank Brisbane and activities take place onsite at this location.
3.2 Accommodation is optional however to secure the special forum rate bookings must be made through gener8 Events.
3.3 Additional room accommodation and upgrade costs are applicable to all room nights and dependent upon availability.
3.4 Once full payment has been received by gener8 Events, you will receive confirmation of your accommodation.
3.5 Accommodation is for 1 person if the single room package is booked or 2 people if the twin package is booked.
3.6 Accommodation requested after the early bird registration date specified cannot be guaranteed.
4 Travel:
4.1 All costs and arrangements associated with your travel to and from the conference are at your own cost and arrangement.
4.2 Airport transfers are not included.
4.3 It is recommended that you take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that might impede your ability to travel.
5. Payment Terms:
5.1 Payment of the conference registration fees and accommodation is to be made direct to gener8 events.
5.2 Full payment for the forum, including any accommodation must be received within 3 working days of your booking confirmation. If payment is not received by this time gener8 reserves the right to charge any outstanding amounts to a credit card (if on file) or cancel your booking.
5.3 Payment can be made by credit card or EFT. If paying by EFT, additional fees may be applied to any overdue payments if collection procedures are required.
5.4 All credit card payments attract credit card surcharges as follows: Visa, Mastercard & Amex – 1.86%
5.5 Please note these credit card charges are directly passed on by gener8 at the rates charged to them. They are higher than standard retail outlet rates as they are charged as online merchant rates. If you have any concerns about these rates charged, please speak with gener8 and alternative payment methods can be accepted.
5.6 Given the closeness of the event, full payment is required upfront if you need to discuss a tailored payment plan kindly contact gener8.
5.7 A taxation invoice/receipt will accompany your registration confirmation which will be emailed to you once your registration is processed.
6. Cancellation Terms:
6.1 Your registration is fully refundable (less a $45 handling fee per person and any credit surcharges paid) if cancellation is received and acknowledged in writing by emailing snooze@gener8.com.au by 17th March 2023.
After this time and up until 21st April 2023, the following terms apply.
- No refund on accommodation, but 50% of registration fees per person cancelled apply plus a $45 handling fee per person.
- Thereafter, full accommodation and registration fees apply (transferrable to another colleague if replaced).
7. COVID-19 Terms and Conditions
Special Covid clause: Outside of these dates, If a positive Covid-19 diagnosis, or imposed government restriction or mandate stops you from personally attending the event then we request you advise us of this as soon as you are aware. You will be encouraged to send a replacement and your ticket is fully transferrable for this purpose (at no penalty). If however you are unable to send a replacement, please notify us no later than 24 hours prior to your check in date and time, and we will do our best to apply for a partial refund on your behalf or transfer of monies to a future Snooze event. Please note the $45 admin fee per person will still be applicable to any refunds issued. Please note official proof of diagnosis may be requested by the hotel prior to any refunds being approved. Please be sure to contact gener8 events directly immediately upon knowledge or your inability to attend and we will work with you to assist with this process to the best of our ability. 7.1 While COVID-19 public health orders and government requirements are in place, the Terms and Conditions under this section will apply.
7.2 With these Terms and Conditions, you agree not to attend the event if, at the time of the event, you have tested positive to COVID-19 or you are experiencing symptoms consistent withCOVID-19 which are subject to change and can be found here: https://www.health.gov.au/health-alerts/covid-19/symptoms
7.3 You also agree to follow the current testing and self isolation rules in Queensland that apply at the time the event is taking place. 8. Non Discloser:
8.1 Your name, company and email address will be provided to suppliers showcasing product at the Snooze forum. If you do not wish this to occur, please email snooze@gener8.com.au advising this.
8.2 Other than as stated in clause 7.1, gener8 Events and Snooze will only use personal information provided for the purpose of managing your participation in the event.

8.4 Images (Photo and Video) collected during the course of the forum by Snooze and gener8 Events may be used by Snooze and its representative for future marketing activities.
9.Bookings & Enquiries:
9.1 Please register online at www.gener8.com.au/snooze by 17th March 2023, to receive early bird prices or before registrations close on 21st April 2023. Early bird prices can only be honoured for registrations and payments made on or prior to 17th March 2023. Payment not received by this date will default to the full registration package.
10. Conference Cancellation or Postponement:
10.1 gener8 Events and Snooze do not accept any liability for losses incurred if the Event is cancelled or postponed due to an unforeseen occurrence or any other occurrence that renders performance of this Event inadvisable, illegal, impracticable or impossible.
An unforeseen occurrence shall include, but shall not be limited to: an Act of God; infectious disease outbreak, industrial disruptions, service provider failures, governmental restrictions and/or regulations; war or apparent act of war; terrorism or apparent act of terrorism; disaster; civil disorder, disturbance, and/or riots; curtailment, suspension, and/or restriction on transportation; or any other emergency.
10.2 If the Event is cancelled due to a force majeure occurrence before the first day of the Event, then gener8 Events and Snooze will reschedule the affected Event and your registration fee will be applied to the rescheduled Event - where related event costs have not already been incurred (eg. Food ordered or prepared etc.)
10.3 Where a technical outage/malfunction is the cause for a temporary or complete failure to broadcast the Event and it cannot proceed, the Event may be rescheduled to an alternative date or content will be made available to view online at your leisure (on-demand). gener8 Events will make every effort to communicate with registrants regarding the technical outage/malfunction via the online portal or if the platform is unable to transmit communication, an alert will be sent via email, conference app or mobile text message, and posted to the Event website.
11. Limitation of Liability:
11.1 gener8 Events and Snooze does not take responsibility for technical issues outside of their control, i.e. internet and power outages. Where possible gener8 Events and Snooze will supply backup solutions to avoid any prolonged interruptions, but this cannot be guaranteed if the cause of the interruption falls outside their jurisdiction.
11.2 Snooze or gener8 Events will not in any event be liable for special or consequential damages, including without limitation extra expenses, loss of profits, or damages consequential upon loss of use, whether arising from either party’s negligence, and even if the possibility of such damages is or was foreseeable by either party.
11.3 The attendee is responsible for all personal items. Neither Gener8 events or Snooze will be liable for missing, lost or stolen items.
11.4 Attendees will be responsible for all death, personal injury and/or property damage, caused by the attendee or the attendees, guests.
12. Insurance:
12.1 The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out appropriate insurance. Neither gener8 Events nor Snooze covers individuals for any losses caused by the cancellation or postponement of the Event.
13. Limitations on Use:
13.1 By registering for the Event, you agree not to sell, trade, transfer, or share your Event access link and/or code, unless such transfer is granted by gener8 Events or Snooze. If gener8 Events or Snooze determines that you have violated this policy, gener8 Events may cancel your registration and access, retain any payments made by you, report you to law enforcement authorities, and ban you from future events.
14. Disruptive Conduct:
14.1 You acknowledge and agree that gener8 Events and/or Snooze reserve the right to exclude any person from registering for, or participating in, any Event. In addition, gener8 Events and/or Snooze may remove any person’s access to the Event if, in their sole discretion, determine that your participation or behaviour creates a disruption or hinders the Event or the enjoyment of the Event content by other attendees.
15. Intellectual Property:
15.1 All intellectual property rights to the Event content, and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Event are owned by the gener8 Events, Snooze the sponsors, &/or speakers presenting at the Event. Participants may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any trademarks or other trade names appearing at the Event, in the Event content, or in any materials distributed at or in connection with the Event for any reason without the prior written permission from the Host.
15.2 No part of the Event may be recorded, reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronically or mechanically, including but not limited to video or audio recording, photographing, photocopying or any other information storage or retrieval system known now or in the future, without the explicit written permission of gener8 Events and/or Snooze.
