Where is the hotel and convention venue?

How do I get from the airport to the hotel and vice versa?

Group transfers have been arranged at scheduled are at your own arrangement and you may wish to consider catching a taxi or uber. 

When do we check-in and check-out?

Check in is 3pm and check out is 11am.

Is Breakfast included?

Breakfast is included for those staying at Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort during the event on Wednesday and Thursday morning only.  For extension dates breakfast will be charged on consumption at $35.00 per person per extension date.

Breakfast will be served in the hotel's Feast Restaurant, open from 7am - 10.30am. (This applies for all pre-registered delegates with breakfast included). You will be required to provide your name and room number when arriving for breakfast so as the hotel can check if yours have been paid in advance or not. If you elect to have breakfast in your room (as room service), this will be considered a room incidental and charged as such to your room account for you to settle direct with the hotel (regardless whether you  have prepaid or not for breakfast). If you experience any concerns or confusion over this process throughout your stay, please speak to a gener8 team member (rather than a Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort staff member) and we will be able to assist.

Check In Process

If you are staying at the hotel, you will be requested to provide your credit card as a form of security during your stay. As your accommodation and breakfast (if selected at time of registering or registering a full delegate/spouse) has already been paid in full to gener8 you will only be charged for any further incidentals that you have incurred throughout your stay and charged to your room (eg. Mini bar, in room dining, laundry, valet parking etc). If your room is not ready kindly leave your bags with reception and proceed to the function area.

Check out Process

You can elect to do an express checkout by completing a form the night before your departure, or alternatively just checkout at reception. If you experience any discrepancies with your hotel bill upon departure that cannot be resolved immediately with the hotel, please visit a gener8 team member at the information desk so that we can assist.  Kindly check out prior to 8:30am and leave your bags with reception.

Does Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort have smoking rooms?

This is a fully non-smoking properties. Designated outside smoking areas are available.

Not staying at the hotel? 

You will be responsible for making your own transfer arrangements to and from events.  Please ensure you allow sufficient times when making your arrangements.

What transfers are required during the Forum?

Airport transfers are only included if booked direct with gener8. Any transfers will be organised by gener8 Events for offsite events. Please ensure to arrive to the designated pickup location 10 minutes prior to departure. Reminders will be sent through the app, please ensure you have this downloaded on your mobile phone. 

What do we wear (dress codes)?

For the business sessions, smart business attire is recommended. 

For the afternoon tea and dinner the dress code is smart casual.
